SOA BPM Developer

 

 

UMB Bank envisions using IBM SOA tools and technologies to change the way of doing business. The unparalleled customer experience (TUCE) is what they want to give to every customer of UMB bank. I am part of the SOA Technology acceleration Center (TAC) where we have to transform the bank into a BPM solution. I am working as a BPM Lead to transform the different LOB’s for the bank. I was involved in a pilot for Agent Bank –Credit Cards, where the process was defined to issue credit cards faster and easily.

Application Designer

 

 

NYHX (New York Health Exchange) project for NYSDOH (New York State Dept. Of Health) envisioned the Obama Care using the SOA based solution. There are four modules to the project and there were a lot of integrations points with external organization. I was part of the interface team which was involved in all the integration including HIPPA transformation and communication. I was involved in designing process in Intel Enterprise Service gateway as the tool . I designed the EDI 834 inbound transaction for the NYHX project

SOA Senior Software Engineer

 

 

UISM (Unemployment Insurance System Management) project for NYSDOL (New York State Dept. Of Labor) envisioned using the SOA based solution instead of the mainframe system running currently. The UISM system has many modules like Registration, Tax Rating, and Benefits etc. The system uses a set of common SOA based services to be used enterprise wide and choreographed using WID. It is based on the principle of component and service reusability with modifications based on SOA principles. I was involved in Benefits and on SIDES project and then into NDNH project. I was involved in service decomposition and identification of services, modeling the process and implementing the process in WID with the help of Rules, mediation, transformation etc.

Senior Software Engineer

 

AISIP is a case management system that is designed around the applicant (called a

Person in AISIP). Information on the Person will be recorded when they make their

first application. Subsequent applications (be they related to Asylum, Immigration,

Citizenship, etc.), will be recorded against that Person. The system has a range of

functions such as the capacity to record alerts, case outcomes etc. as well as capacity to

generate items of correspondence. It also has the capacity for scanning and storage of

incoming correspondence as well as a file tracking system.

SIS (Securities Industry Services) specializes in delivering solutions for the securities market. The SIS Revitalization program covers the Securities, Order and Trading, Client, Accounting and Asset servicing product lines within the SIS Brokerage platform.  ECUS (Enterprise Common Utility Services) project under SIS RVP was aimed at creating a set of common SOA based services to be used enterprise wide in the broking platform solutions provided by SIS. It is based on the principle of component and service reusability with modifications based on SOA principles that are in place for transformation services in SIS. I was responsible for Error Handling Services where I proposed a policy based solution with designing and implementation of the service using assets.

IBM GBS is executing a Transformation Project for Idea Cellular Limited, India. IBM is designing and implementing an EAI infrastructure project under this portfolio. I worked on one of the sub-projects under the EAI project. This involved design, development, and deployment of a Common Utility Framework (CUF), which would provide Logging, Exception Handling, Security, and Notification Management Services. In this project I worked as SOA Integration Engineer and was involved in analyzing of Error Handling module in which the project used the asset made by SAC team Kolkata. I had a role to analyze the asset and make it best fit for the Idea requirement.

Placement cell for RVCE has to capture information for all the students getting placed in the campus. Placement cell has to provide the data for each year for auditing and analysis as to how many students got placed and how many did not. I was involved in the implementation of the same for RVCE . I was required to talk to the Placement officer and gather the requirements and make a solution for the placement cell.  The project was done with jsp and core java.
